Video Game Voice Veterans Form the Natural Six
Meet a new group of video game VAs playing tabletop games!
At the top of each episode, Matt Mercer introduces the cast of Critical Role as a “bunch of nerdy-ass voice actors” playing Dungeons & Dragons. Pretty soon, though, that may become a crowded category. Enter Natural Six, a Kickstarter for a new actual-play series that features several UK-based video game voice actors.
You might recognize the voice of Dungeon Master Harry McEntire from roles in Final Fantasy XVI, Xenoblade Chronicles, and Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla. Joining him on the other side of his screen will be Hollie Bennett (Playstation Access/Frontier Developments), Ben Starr (Final Fantasy XVI), Alex Jordan (Cyberpunk 2077), Aoife Wilson (Eurogamer), and Geralt of Rivia himself - Doug Cockle.
While no release date or time frame was given in the short teaser trailer, the cast showcased their electric chemistry and dramatic storytelling skills. If funded, they promised a 10-episode run of actual play Dungeons & Dragons. You can follow the Kickstarter here.
