RoboQuest and Dead Cells Crossover

You got some of your side-scroller in my first person shooter!

Developer RyseUp Studios announced that their roguelite shooter RoboQuest is teaming up with Motion Twin’s Dead Cells for their newest update! Releasing later this week, the update promises several brand new features.

First, the nefarious Collector from Dead Cells will be appearing in RoboQuest, with a brand new mission that involves bringing him to your basecamp and - rather predictably - collecting weapons throughout the game. Once this mission is complete, you’ll unlock a limited ability to control how often weapons appear during gameplay.

The update will also add the panchaku, a nunchuck-like melee weapon found early on in Dead Cells, and the iconic red scarf that the prisoner wears in the default outfit.

The games will also be bundled together on digital storefronts at a 10% discount when the update releases on Thursday, August 14th. Do you plan on playing this new update for RoboQuest? Let us know in the comments below!
