Meet Kevin Afghani, the relatively new Los Angeles voice actor who has been in the business since 2020. He’s mostly known for roles such as Raditz in Dragonball R&R and Arnold in Genshin Impact.
Now, he’s stepping into the legendary overalls of the world’s most favorite plumber. Announced in a post on Friday, Afghani voiced both Mario and his brother Luigi in the upcoming Super Mario Bros. Wonder.
Charles Martinet, the previous voice actor for the character, announced in late August that he would be stepping down from the role and assuming the new title of “Mario Ambassador.”
Super Mario Bros. Wonder releases on the Nintendo Switch on October 20th.
