Hosted by Game Director Ji Won Choi, Lies of P fans were treated to news of incoming DLC and a confirmed sequel for the Souls-like game that sold a million copies in the month after its release.
In the Director’s Letter video, Choi starts by acknowledging the milestone and sharing his appreciation for the community and drops a line confirming further adventures in Krat.
"Our highest priority is developing the DLC and working on our sequel," Choi says, following that up with “the dev team is putting in significant effort, brainstorming and exploring different aspects of the projects.”
Two sketches of concept art were shared in the video, showing P on what looks to be a long-abandoned ship and possibly some sort of laboratory. Choi says that those images are “merely the tip of an iceberg” of what’s to come. Have a theory about either of the images? Let us know in the comments. [SPOILER warning.]

A new patch will be coming to Lies of P later in November, making Rising Dodge a default skill, tweaking the performance of the blade and handle combinations, adding an extra cosmetic facial slot so you can wear glasses or a hat, and other various changes to make the game more approachable in the beginning.
Where do you hope the team goes with the sequel? Shout it out in the comments, and again, beware of spoilers if you haven’t played Lies of P.
