Baldur's Gate 3 Cast Unites to Play D&D
Have you finished your playthrough of Baldur’s Gate 3 or are you simply clamoring for more of the stellar voice cast? Boy, does the liveplay Dungeons & Dragons group High Rollers have the weekend plans for you!
The UK-based group has been hired by developer Larian Studios to run a very special one-shot adventure for the voice cast of the “origin” characters of the hit roleplaying game. The voice talent has united for the first time to reprise their characters in a tabletop roleplaying game actual-play this Friday on Twitch.
The cast includes Jennifer English as trickster cleric Shadowheart, Samantha Béart as the red hot barbarian Karlach, Theo Solomon as the “Blade of Frontiers” Wyll Ravengard, Tim Downie as the Waterdeep wizard Gale, Neil Newbon as the charismatic Astarion, and Devora Wilde as the fearsome githyanki Lae’Zel.
The voice cast has been enjoying the game’s sudden burst in popularity, even posting clips of them reading Tumblr posts in character on social media. They appear to be very enthusiastic to return to their characters in any form.
The one-shot airs this Friday 7:00pm BST in the UK, which translates to sometime in the afternoon for those across the pond in the United States. Will you be tuning in to watch the Baldur’s Gate 3 crew play Dungeons & Dragons? Let us know in the comments below!
